Supreme Court suspends LHC's decision to form election tribunals



Lahore – The highest court in Pakistan on Thursday put a hold on the decision made by the Lahore High Court concerning the creation of Election Tribunals.

The supreme court intervened in the matter after the Election Commission of Pakistan sought its intervention to resolve a heated debate about the authority to appoint tribunals to adjudicate election conflicts, whether it should be the Election Commission or the Lahore High Court (LHC).
